Elementor #gesamtkunstwerke
With eight projects in Germany, the Danish architects Arne Jacobsen and Otto Weitling realised more buildings than anywhere else except their own country. For the first time seven of them are presented in a touring exhibition from 2020-2023. Organised under the auspices of the German-Danish Cultural Friendship Year 2020, it also commemorates the fiftieth anniversary of Jacobsen’s death in 2021.

The architecture of Arne Jacobsen and Otto Weitling is of outstanding importance for the post-war modern period in Germany. The idea for the exhibition arose at the seaside at Burgtiefe

“Pros and cons would certainly be a positive sign, because a house that is not talked about is usually not worth talking about.”
The touring exhibition #gesamtkunstwerke2020 has now reached the city of Castrop-Rauxel, Germany. We are proud to see the GRID chosen as the adaptable, durable and elegant #exhibitiondisplay.

GRID is made to be used, reconfigured and reused again and again. Designed to last for decades – just like the architecture.
